The high bidder will be adding value to their cellar with this mixed case of extremely hard to find wines from Pride Mountain Vineyards. This lot includes:

 2 Bottles of 2004 Cabernet Franc- “ An example if what true physiological ripeness means to Cabernet Franc. Red and blackberry fruit aromas interplay with a kiss of French oak in the aromas and flavors. Round richness of body coat the entire palate with ripe berry flavors making a second taste irresistible. The finish lasts for several minutes, so slow down if you must!

 1 bottle 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon- “Spice, red currant and blackberry aroma. Turns taut and firm on the palate, with mouth coating tannins. Hints of mocha and vanilla bean add nice flavor and dimension  

4 bottles 2003 Merlot- “An openly seductive style, with ripe currant, blackberry and wild berry fruit shaded by splashy mocha and espresso bean flavors. It’s complex and concentrated.”

 4 bottles 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon- “Blackberry, black cherry and cassis, all thoroughly ripe introduce a broad away of chewy youthful tannins. A beautiful acidity balances the impressive fruit dynamic and youthful cherry flavors linger long in the finish.  1 bottle 2004 merlot- “The inky ruby red hue and aroma of black cherry and cassis will make this a fun wine to slip into Cabernet tastings as a ringer to win! The mild palate is thick with ripeness and broad textures and the slight grip of fine tannin frames the lingering fruit and espresso flavors in the long finish.”

A perennial favorite, the Wine Cellar Tour and Tasting is offered for eight individuals who are interested in experiencing vinicultural treats from Spartanburg’s finest private wine cellars.  The lucky crowd will be taken to area homes and other mystery locations to experience rare and wonderful wines.  Hors d’oeuvres will be provided at each stop with transportation included throughout the evening.
