Bloodborne Pathogen Training

Preventing Disease Transmission
Led by certified Red Cross instructors, Bloodborne Pathogens Training helps your organization comply with the training component of OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens Standard, including OSHA's Needlestick Standard. In about two hours, employees learn vital information about managing a potential exposure to an infectious disease in the workplace, including:
  • How bloodborne pathogens are spread
  • How to prevent exposures
  • What to do if exposed to infectious materials

Our modular training format allows you to add Bloodborne Pathogens Training: Preventing Disease Transmission to your CPR and first aid training.  

This courses is offered at the Spartanburg location.   Pre-registration and pre-payment is required.    Please note that classes are filled on a first-come basis.  Class schedules are subject to change.  A minimum of 5 students per class is required, otherwise the class will be cancelled.

How to Register:

  • Credit Card Phone Registration:  Call (864) 583-8000 weekdays between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm.
  • Office Registration: register in person with cash, credit card or check weekdays between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm.
  • Online Registration: please fill out the form below.  After pressing the SUBMIT button, you will be directed to our secure server for online payment to pay with credit/debit card.

Before registration:

  • Register early to be assured a space in your class of choice.
  • Bring a lunch or plan to purchase a meal off-site for daytime classes.
